Are you still waiting for your refund check to show up in your mailbox, or to be deposited into your bank account? You can check in with the IRS to find out about the status of your refund by going to www.irs.gov/refunds. Or use the mobile application IRS2Go (version 4.0) to check via smart phone.

The “Where’s My Refund?” tool allows you to track your refund within 24 hours of e-filing, or about four weeks after filing a paper return. You’ll need your Social Security number, filing status, and the exact amount of the refund you are expecting.
